1. The money-back guarantee
We built Bandly to help you reach your target IELTS Writing band. If you use Bandly consistently to prepare and still don't hit the target band you set, we'll refund what you paid for the qualifying plan. We want you to be able to practice with confidence.
2. Eligibility conditions
To qualify for a guarantee refund, all of the following need to be true:
- you set a target band in Bandly and were an active paying subscriber during your prep;
- you submitted a reasonable amount of practice — as a guide, at least eight essays checked through Bandly with the feedback applied between attempts;
- you sat an official IELTS test within 90 days of your subscription starting; and
- your official Writing band came in below the target you set in Bandly.
The guarantee applies to your first qualifying subscription and does not cover charges you continued to pay after already receiving an official result at or above your target.
3. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from your account email with:
- the target band you set in Bandly;
- a copy or clear photo of your official IELTS Test Report Form showing your Writing band; and
- the approximate dates you practiced with Bandly.
We only use the documents you send to verify your claim, and we handle them under our Privacy Policy.
4. Timeframe
We aim to review guarantee requests within 7 business days. If your request is approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method, and it typically takes a further 5 to 10 business days to appear depending on your bank or card provider.
5. Standard cancellations
Separate from the guarantee, you can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings to stop future renewals. You keep unlimited access until the end of the period you have already paid for — the month, the year, or the 7 days of a one-time pass (which never renews by itself).
