The companies prefer workers with experience because they do not need training. Secondly, the education in universities is not matching with the job market. Students learn many theories but they do not learn practical skills, so when they graduate they cannot do the job well. Thirdly, in some countries the economy is not good and there is not enough jobs for everyone, so young people must compete with older workers for the same job. However, there are some solutions for this problem. The government should make more internship programs, so young people can get experience when they are studying. Also, universities should change their courses and teach more practical skills that companies need, for example computer skills and communication skills. In addition, the government can give money to the companies that hire young workers. This will encourage the companies to give a chance to young people without experience. In conclusion, youth unemployment happens because of lack of experience, bad education system and weak economy. I believe this problem can be solved if the government, universities and companies work together.
