Some people believe that governments should invest more in public transport than in building new roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, traffic is very big problem. Many people say government should spend money public transport not new road. I am agree this opinion. First, public transport is very cheap. If we take bus or subway, we save many money. Also, public transport is no traffic jam. Many car on the road make traffic jam. But subway go under ground, so it is very fast. Government need make more subway for people. Second, new road make many car. Many car is bad for earth. Car have dirty smoke. It make air pollution. People sick because dirty air. So government not make new road. New road need very much money too. If no road, people not buy car. In conclude, public transport is more better than new road. It save money and fast and clean. Government must invest to bus and train for future.
