Some people believe that online courses are a good alternative to traditional classroom education. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, many people study online courses instead of going to a classroom. Some people think this is a good way of education. I agree with this opinion, but I also think classroom have some benefits that online cannot give. Firstly, online education is very convenient. Student can study at home and they do not need to travel to school every day. This save a lot of time and money. For example, my cousin studied a marketing course on internet and she finished it while she was working full time job. If she went to a normal college, she could not do this. Also, online courses are usually more cheap than normal universities, so more people can afford to study. Secondly, there are many choices online. A student in a small city can study a course from a famous university in other country. This was impossible in the past. However, online study also have problems. Students cannot meet their teacher face to face, so when they have a question it is difficult to get answer quickly. In addition, some students feel lonely and they stop the course before finish it. In the classroom, students can make friends and teacher can control them to study hard. In conclusion, I agree that online courses are a good alternative for traditional education because it is convenient and cheap. But I think students must be careful, because online study needs strong motivation, and not every student have this motivation.
