Some people think that all advertising aimed at children should be banned. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The strongest argument for a ban is that cannot evaluate advertisements critically. Unlike adults, young often do not understand that the purpose of an advert is to sell something; they simply believe what a cartoon character tells them. Companies exploit this weakness to create demand for sugary cereals, fast food and expensive toys, which leads to family conflicts and, more seriously, to rising childhood obesity.
